Anyway, what I had originally written:
Technically, all you have to do at the console is
ALT-F2. The text-only consoles do not require the use
of CTRL. CTRL only comes into play when switching to a
window manager. ALT-TAB also cycles as well, if I
remember right.
Oh, and on the topic of OS X. Built-in firewalling
that can be turned on in the GUI and is port specific
if you like. As well as being able to run any other
servers/services you like. You can all be green with
envy now. :P However, regardless of the OS, I doubt
more than half this campus could handle an OS no
matter what is was, OS X NOT excluded. Most students =
Baka.
