[Cs-club] A new year...

A new year is almost upon us and I think it's time that we think about
what we want to do for this year. Daniel and I have had some dis-
cussion about what we plan on doing for this year, but I think it's
important that we open up that discussion up to the rest of the list.
Just note that the rest of the discussion after this should be on the
csclubchatter@lists.uwosh.edu list, not here. So if you want to par-
ticipate in the discussion make sure that you're subscribed to that
list ( http://lists.uwosh.edu/mailman/listinfo/csclubchatter .)

Finally, I've attached an email from my brother that war originally sent
to the Fond du Lac Linux User's Group mailing list (you can find their
site at http://www.fdllug.org/ ), but I think it's appropriate here as
well.

I get the impression from reading this list that many of you are still
in college. Some of you may be getting to the end of your college career
and finding it very difficult to find a job. Trust me: it's just as
hard to find a job with >11 years of experience! In my last two jobs,
I've had to take significant pay cuts. First a 26% paycut, followed by
a 23% paycut.

But there's hope! This is one of the most encouraging articles that
I've read on the subject in a while. The article is not directly Linux
related, however if you're technically saavy enough to manage Linux, you're
probably in the "high skilled" labor class that the article mentions.
