[Cs-club] Final Meeting - LAN Party - Tues. 5/11 - 5pm - Reeve 306 (Wisconsin Room)

Club,

   Next week's meeting will be our LAN party. We'll be
in REEVE 306 (the Wisconsin Room). Start time is the
usual and we'll go till whenever.
   What should you do? Bring a computer, at least one
Cat 5 cable and all the files needed to play the games
you want to play. We'd also appreciate anyone who can
bring power strips and extension cords as those are
always needed. As for networking, if one person can
volunteer to bring a switch, we should be set as I
will bring up the switch from the SACC. Mmmm, 16 ports
of 10/100 managed goodness.
   After I post this to the list, I will be e-mailing
a list of games I can bring. I'd suggest that everyone
does the same so we get this really coordinated. We'll
work out exactly which games in 2-3 days and delegate
who will bring the install media for what.
   We have tables and chairs situated. If you intend
to bring a console, please let me know so I can
reserve a TV/projector. Finally, bring a pop (or pops
to share as well) and bring a good attitude. Lamers
will be shown the door quickly indeed.
   Let me know if you have any other thoughts or
things I missed.
