Are you interested in studying abroad but not quite sure how to find a 
program or where to go for more information?  Are you looking for 
scholarships or grants to study abroad?

If so, join our study abroad meetings on Thursdays in Clow 151 from 3:00-4:00!

October 10
Topic: Defining your expectations of the study abroad experience and searching
for a study abroad program which fits your needs.

October 17
Topic: (Repeat of October 10 session)

October 24
Topic: Narrowing down your study abroad choices; Assessing your language
skills; Applying to study abroad programs; Budgets, financial aid and study 
abroad
grants/scholarships; Working with your academic advisor for prior approval for
transfer credits; Applying for a passport.

October 31
Topic: Health, safety & vaccinations; Returning to UW Oshkosh without
reapplying for admission; Applying for a visa; Arranging for transportation &
housing; Money.

Future meeting topics will include registering for courses from abroad, 
transcripts
& transfer credit, packing, and more...
