The Office of International Education is sponsoring a
Study Abroad Information Meeting in Clow 125 onThursday, February 27 from
3:00-4:00

Where can I study abroad?
UW Oshkosh offers programs to the U.K., Costa Rica, Brazil, Greece,
Germany, the Czech Republic, Belize, India, Switzerland, Canada, France,
Japan, Spain, Uganda, Italy?
Study abroad is expensive, how am I going to pay for it?
Financial Aid can be applied toward your study abroad costs. Study abroad
grants are also available! Attend our meeting to find out how.
What credits can I get if I study abroad?
You can earn credit in all fields - from philosophy to business to
radio/TV/film! Check out our new website (listed below) for details on the
programs that UW Oshkosh offers! For example, this spring interim and
summer we'll be offering the following programs...
British Philosophy in Cambridge, England (Philosophy 426-001 & 002)
Performing Arts in Great Britain (Liberal Studies 307 and Interdisciplinary
Studies 360. In addition, Liberal Studies 200 is optional.)
Central American Culture in Costa Rica (International Studies 321 plus Span
208 or Span 309)
Cross-Cultural Research in Brazil (Psychology 225 or Psychology 480)
Media Studies in London and Glasgow (Communication 425 or English 370 and
English 350 or Communication (t.b.d.))
Seminar on Globalization: Africa's Experience in Uganda (Educational
Leadership 719 or Secondary Education 737)
Summer in Rome (History 448 plus a choice of other history courses)
How long will I be in the foreign country if I study abroad?
UW Oshkosh offers programs which range from 2 weeks to one year.
