The Institute of International Education is pleased to announce the Freeman
Awards for Study in Asia.
Generously supported by the Freeman Foundation, the Freeman-ASIA Awards are
designed to encourage US undergraduate students who are dedicated to
learning more about Asian languages and cultures to study in Asia. By
providing need-based scholarship awards, the program has supported over
1,400 US undergraduates with study abroad programs in East and Southeast
Asia since its inception in 2001.
Our next competition for Spring 2004 opens on September 2, 2003. Deadlines
for applications will be on October 31, 2003. For more information about
our program and application procedures, please visit our website at
www.iie.org/Freeman-ASIA. You may also e-mail us at anytime to
<mailto:Freeman-ASIA@iie.org> with questions or inquiries about the
Freeman-ASIA program, we will be happy to assist you.
