Subject: Glimpse Spring 2005 Photo Contest

Encourage your students to submit to our Spring 2005 Photo Contest, "A
Day's Rest." As a follow-up to our Fall 2004 Contest, "A Day's Work,"
Glimpse now asks students to explore how people around the world spend
their leisure time. How do people relax, socialize and enjoy themselves
when not on the job? Participants are asked to submit one photograph
and one or two explanatory paragraphs describing the photo and
providing cultural and historical context.

The winners will be featured in our much-acclaimed Glimpse calendar!
The deadline is May 2, 2005.
