[International] Ecuador

Dear International and INTL listserv members:

Did you know that UW Oshkosh is sending approximately 360 students abroad over the 2005/06 academic year?

?An awesome adventure?
?Poisonous spiders the size of your fist ? no, really!?
?Amazing shamanistic rituals?
?Challenging cross-cultural communication?
?Life-changing experiences?

These are just a few of the words students have used to describe the first Communication Department study abroad trip.  During this cultural immersion, service-learning adventure, twenty brave students (and one nervous professor!) lived and worked with the Tsachilas in the Amazon rainforest of Ecuador.  The students have produced a visual presentation documenting their learning. We invite you to this session for a glimpse of our journey!

Monday March 27
12:40-1:40 p.m.
AC S121
Video followed by Q & A with travelers!

If you're not yet convinced that you need to see this presentation, open the attachment to see just a few of this group's photos!
