University of Wisconsin River Falls Chancellor Don Betz is excited to
unveil a new leadership class and cultural immersion opportunity for you!
The Chancellor?s Global Leadership Colloquium is a short-term study abroad
experience at the historic Dalkeith Palace just outside Edinburgh,
Scotland. You will earn three credits by spending August 1-17, 2006,
studying leadership through the exploration of global issues, with the
guidance of Chancellor Don Betz and other UW-River Falls staff. You can
look forward to the following:
· Not sitting in class taking notes, but being graded on journals,
experiences, and reflective discussions
· Earning 3 credits in just 3 weeks
· Meeting Scottish leaders
· Seminar style (limited to 20 students)
· Exploring another culture
· Discovering your personal leadership strengths
· Examining what leadership means to you and what it will mean upon your
return to UW-RF
