The University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA is seeking to fill one full-time administrative position in the Penn Abroad division of the Office of International Programs.

Title: STUDY ABROAD ADMISSIONS COORDINATOR	Salary Grade: 024

DUTIES:
Under minimal supervision, the Study Abroad Admissions Coordinator performs extensive administrative and data management in support of undergraduate study abroad and exchange student admissions. Duties include, but are not limited to, handling correspondence and applicants files; maintaining study abroad and exchange student databases and interface with University databases (SRS, SFS-EASI); coordinating admissions notification and post-admissions services, preparing and coordinating mailings for students and parents; tracking receipt of grade reports and forwarding them to school offices; preparing and adhering to Penn Abroad timelines, and actively participating in planning activities. The Admissions Coordinator corresponds with exchange partner institutions and exchange students regarding applications, acceptance materials and visa applications. The Admissions Coordinator also produces regular reports to offices on campus tacking the status of study abroad applicants; registers students for study abroad; processes student account adjustments and reviews student bills. 
The Admissions Coordinator may serve as receptionist at designated times and provide basic information on study abroad. Shared supervision of approximately four student employees.

QUALIFICATIONS:	
A High School Diploma or GED is required and 3 years to 5 years of 
experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
Requires judgment, initiative, aptitude for administrative detail and 
database management (knowledge of web-based applications a plus), 
background knowledge or experience in international education strongly 
preferred, excellent customer service skills.
