[International] Position Opening (INTLJOB)

 Dear International Listserv Members:

AHA has posted an opening for a new, limited duration position in our
Portland office; application review begins July 7.   The position is for
six months only beginning in August, and is not expected to be renewed.
This will be a full-time position and carry full benefits for the six month duration; we anticipate it may be of particular interest to recent graduates interested in a career in international education.

 

Office Specialist 2 (Assistant Student Services Coordinator) - University of Oregon, AHA International.

Acts as liaison with students and institutions during the application
process for assigned study abroad programs.   Position is expected to
last approximately six months and it is located in downtown Portland.
Requires two years clerical experience or equivalent combination of experience and training; requires experience studying abroad at the university level; proficiency with Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook; excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures; experience working in a collaborative work environment. Prefer candidates with bachelors degree; ability to speak one or more languages in addition to English; experience advising, interviewing, and communicating with university students; demonstrated interest in working
in the field of international education.   $11.84 - $12.74 per hour;
excellent benefits, including health and dental, employer-paid retirement, tuition benefits for employee or an eligible dependent, sick and vacation leave.
