[International] Two Job Openings, The Ohio State University (INTLJOB)

 Dear International Listserv Members:

The Ohio State University's Office of International Affairs (OIA) has

two immediate openings for Study Abroad Coordinator positions.

Essential Duties are as follows:

Plans, develops and administers existing university-wide study abroad

programs and exchanges; researches, initiates, and implements new

academic international opportunities for Ohio State students in

conjunction with academic units and faculty; develops managerial budgets

for assigned programs; prepares and writes specifications for

bid-eligible programs; manages complex programmatic, logistical, and

fiscal arrangements with host institutions, faculty resident directors,

students, and study abroad providers; develops pre-departure resources

and provides orientation for outgoing students, faculty resident

directors and other University personnel; monitors and evaluates

assigned international programs in consultation with relevant faculty

and academic units; responds to emergencies in accordance with

established OIA and University protocol; researches professional

standards in field of study abroad and implements best practices in

program management and development; develops office resources and

delivers outreach activities to diverse audiences, including First Year

Experience, Honors and Scholars, University faculty and staff, student

organizations, and residence halls; advises students, faculty, and

academic advisors on academic international opportunities; serves as

member of the OIA study abroad team. 

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent

combination of education and experience; experience in study abroad

planning and administration. 

Desired Qualifications: Master's Degree or an equivalent combination

of education and experience.
