Cleveland State University is pleased to annouce an opening for a Study Abroad Specialist (part-time, 32 hours a week). Application review will begin on July 14, 2008.

Duties: 
 
Coordinates and performs a variety of admiistrative, fiscal, and staff support activities for short-term faculty-led study abroad programs. Assists with program development and implementation through general advising, monitoring of expenses and accounts, creation of publicity materials, and communication with staff at international partner institutions. Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills. This a part- time position (32 hours per week).  
   
Minimum Qualifications:  
Bachelor's degree. Previous study, work, travel, or residence abroad. Prior student services experience in a higher education setting. Experience writing/editing publications. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds. PC proficient, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Ability to travel off- campus and/or internationally as needed. Excellent communication skills.  
   
Preferred Qualifications:  
Master's degree, preferably with an international focus. Previous experience in student advising.
