 Dear International Listserv Members:

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR-West Coast:  The Arcadia University Center for Education Abroad seeks an experienced study abroad professional as its Assistant Director for the West Coast region (Southern CA, AZ, NV).  The West Coast Assistant Director is responsible for representing Arcadia's 100 plus study abroad programs in 14 countries and for following up directly with study abroad advisors, home institution administrators, (registrar's, financial aid advisors, etc.), and student inquirers to maximize enrollments.  The incumbent works independently out of a home-office based in California, (preferably Southern California), and will be responsible for visiting colleges and universities in the region as well as assisting staff in other regions and attending professional conferences.  The Assistant Director is expected to become the authoritative representative for Arcadia University in their region, able to address all manner of program and policy issues.

Minimum requirements:  A thorough knowledge of study abroad with at minimum three years experience in higher education; experience as a study abroad advisor or representing other study abroad programs is preferred; master's degree required.
