The Center for Cross-Cultural Study (CC-CS) is reposting a job opening in our Amherst, Massachusetts office.

Title: Institutional Relations Associate

Reports to: Institutional Relations Director

Start Date: August 11, 2008

Job Description: 
One of three such positions, the Institutional Relations Associate is responsible for maintaining and building relationships with academic contacts at U.S. colleges and universities, recruiting students to study on CC-CS programs abroad, and working to develop new strategies for marketing and recruitment. This full-time position includes extensive travel, offers a competitive salary and benefits, and is based in Amherst, Massachusetts.

Primary Responsibilities:
*Maintain and strengthen ongoing relationships with administrators, faculty and advisors at CC-CS affiliate institutions *Establish and develop relationships with administrators, faculty and advisors at potential partner institutions *Schedule and coordinate personal recruiting travel *Actively recruit students on their home campuses *Participate in organized follow-up with student inquiries and applicants

Required Skills:
*Willingness to travel frequently, especially during peak recruiting seasons *Effective written and verbal communication skills *Strong presentation and public speaking skills *Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities *High level of enthusiasm and energy *Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications:
*Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred)
*At least two years of experience in the field of international education *Proficiency in the Spanish language *Personal study abroad experience
