JOB OPENING

Outreach and Group Leadership Manager- The Experiment in International Living

Reports to:	Directors and Deputy Director
Location:	Brattleboro, Vermont 

General Description:  The Outreach and Group Leadership Manager will be responsible for the recruitment of student participants and the hiring and training of adult group leaders. Engage in extensive domestic travel to cultivate and deepen our relationships with top sending schools and develop new partnerships. Involve alumni in the direct recruiting of participants and group leaders. Facilitate new strategies for reaching future participants and group leaders.  

Specific Responsibilities:

.	Recruit high school students for Experiment in International Living 
programs through presentations at high schools, summer opportunities fairs, parent information evenings, work with school or community groups
.	Help identify, hire, and train 100+ adult group leaders for Experiment 
Summer Abroad programs.
.	Organize and facilitate a Leadership Training Workshop for adult 
group leaders.
.	Involve alumni in the recruitment process by working with the 
Deputy Director and Directors
.	Monitor market interest/satisfaction with current programs as well as 
market interest in potential new programs by working with the Deputy Director
.	Assist operations staff with customer service, dossier building, 
application process, and creation of materials
	
	Required Qualifications:
	
.	Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
.	Experience working with adolescents
.	Cross-cultural / international education experience
.	Excellent written and oral communication skills
.	Ability to make presentations to students, parents, teachers and 
other educators
.	Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and customer service 
skills
.	Ability to travel overnight, often for weeks at a time, work weekends 
and evenings to support outreach efforts
.	Ability to work creatively and collaboratively
