Position:  Admissions/Recruitment Coordinator - Syracuse University Abroad

SU Abroad programs foster scholarship in action through a combination of world travel, academic excellence, internships and community collaboration. 
The University currently operates seven centers: Beijing, Chile, Florence, Hong Kong, London, Madrid, and Strasbourg. New centers are under development in the Caribbean and Africa. Through the World Partners program, SU students may also study in over 20 additional countries including Australia, Israel, India, Korea, and Russia. More than 2,200 students study abroad with SU every year.

Description:  The admissions/recruitment coordinator will have primary responsibility for advising, evaluating, and admitting students (locally and
nationally) to Syracuse University study abroad programs in Florence, Italy and other countries as assigned. Other responsibilities include managing student visa applications, serving as a liaison to SU Abroad staff abroad and 
participating in recruitment efforts.    

Qualifications:  The successful candidate must have superior interpersonal skills (written and oral communications), demonstrate initiative, possess strong organizational skills, and be able to multi-task effectively. Previous experience advising students, fluency in Italian and/or other languages as well as experience living/traveling/studying abroad is strongly desired.
