Announcing the Undergraduate International Studies & Foreign Language ProgramThe U.S. Department of Education's Undergraduate International Studies & Foreign Language (UISFL) Program provides grants to strengthen and improve undergraduate instruction in international studies and foreign languages.
Eligible applicants include: (1) institutions of higher education, (2) combinations of institutions of higher education, (3) partnerships between nonprofit educational organizations and institutions of higher education, and (4) public and private nonprofit agencies and organizations, including professional and scholarly associations.

Award Amount
It is anticipated that 28 awards of $72,821 each will be available.
Deadline Information
The deadline for proposals is November 5, 2003. To ensure adequate time for internal review, drafts are due to UW Oshkosh Office of Sponsored Programs by October 29, 2003.
