The BFCE is solicting detailed proposals from accredited,
degree granting U.S. institutions of higher ducation; colleges,
universities, and consortia of colleges and universities for the
development and implementation of a one-week (five working days),
post-graduate level American studies program designed for a group of
25-30 Egyptian secondary school educators. The program will be conducted
in Egypt during January/February 2005.
The program is intended to deepen participantsâ??
understanding of issues related to the study of the United States. The
ultimate goal is to promote the development and improvement of courses
and teaching about the U.S. at Egyptian secondary schools.
Deadline for submitting two original copies of the
proposal and all attachments is on or before July 28, 2004. Interested
parties should indicate their interest in submitting a proposal by
sending an e-mail or fax to the Commission no later than July 5, 2004.
