Announcing?Abe Fellowship
Award
Program: The Abe Fellowship Program
Agency: Social Science Research Council
Description: This program is designed to encourage international
multidisciplinary research on topics of pressing global concern. Areas of
interest include problems common to industrial and industrializing
societies and issues pertaining to U.S.-Japan relations. Eligibility is
open to U.S. and Japanese citizens and to nationals of other countries
who can demonstrate strong and serious long-term affiliations with
research communities in the U.S. or Japan.
Deadline Information: Proposals are due Sept. 1, 2005. To ensure
time for internal review, drafts are due to the Office of Grants and
Faculty Development on Aug. 25, 2005.
