[Intl] Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence Program
From the Office of Grants and Faculty
Development
Announcing . . . Fulbright
Scholar-in-Residence Program
Agency: Council for International Exchange of Scholars
Description: This program enables institutions to apply for awards
to host visiting lecturers from abroad to teach at the undergraduate
level for a semester or academic year. Hosting a Scholar-in Residence is
an excellent way for colleges and universities to internationalize their
curricula,
strengthen their linkages with overseas institutions and promote
international scholarship in all disciplines. Institutions can propose to
formally or informally share the visiting scholar with neighboring
institutions or consortia.
Deadline Information: Proposals are due October 14, 2005. To
ensure time for internal review, drafts are due to the Office of Grants
and Faculty Development on October 7, 2005. Note: there is a
limit of one application per institution, so anyone considering an
application should notify the Office of Grants and Faculty Development at
extension 3215 as soon as possible.
