[Philclub] Vegetarianism
For your information, I seem to recall that Tom Regan, author of _The Case for
Animal Rights_ (which I presume was the focus of Dr. Gilboa's talk at the last
meeting), told me that he wrote his doctoral dissertation on RM Hare's theory.
That is especially interesting since Peter Singer
<http://www.petersingerlinks.com/>, the other major author on animal
liberation, was a student of Hare's at Oxford U. Many roads to AR seem to lead
back to Hare (http://www.petersingerlinks.com/Hare/) and his "Kantian
Utilitarian" theories.

Did you know there is a web site where, if you click on a button, the advertisers there will donate 2 1/2 cups of food to feed hungry people in places where there is a lot of starvation? See:
