[Seac] Adobe Acrobat
http://www.tnk-bootblock.co.uk/prods/misc/
This is a link to a page that has a neat little program called "Adobe Acrobat SpeedUp" - this will really help anybody who uses Acrobat reader a lot and/or e-reserve for classes at school (which means using Reader a lot). For use at home, just save the *.zip wherever you like and extract the files (you may need something like WinZip or WinAce) somewhere and run the program. For use at school, download and save it onto your U: drive; then, you may have to run it for every log in that you want to use it, because the computers at school get "conformed" with every shutdown and restart, but, if you plan well and use Acrobat to view several things during one log in instead of different things at different times here and there, this will save you time. In the case of the link that Steve Barney sent for the whole chapter on a book, this will save you time for that on its own. I've been using this for sometime now and some of you probably have, too - it just never occurred to me
to let you guys know about it until I tried following the link in Steve's email. See y'all on Thursday.
