[Sss-list] Information
Dear SSS Student:
By now the semester is underway and we hope your classes are going
well. If not, do meet with one of the SSS staff.
You must also start preparing for next year. If you are applying for
Financial Aid, the priority deadline is March 15, 2003. We can
help you with your Fafsa form.
I would also like to inform you that SSS will award the SSS Grant Aid
again next year to eligible students. The criteria used will be the
following:
- Cumalative
GPA 2.5 or above
- Below
60 credits earned
- A
minimum of 5 contacts initiated by you with SSS staff
- Pell
Grant recipient
Last year 32 eligible students received an average of $900.00 per
semester. Remember grant money does have to be repaid.
