[Sss-list] spring semester activities

Dear SSS Student:

Hope you are settled into your semester by now. If you need any academic support do contact us in SSS. A few reminders to help with your success:

We are offering a Hands 0n Financial Aid Workshop on February 22nd from 4-5pm. Priority deadline for filing the FAFSA is March 15th. The sooner you file the better your package. If you cannot attend this session there will be sessions for all students offered in Reeve Union (check the website for Finacial Aids)
We will be celebrating TRIO Day (SSS is a TRIO program)on February 25th from 11-3pm at the Foundation Center. Do drop in for a few minutes, good food and good company!
Spring Job Fair with 90+ employers at the Oshkosh Convention Center on March 2nd from noon to 5pm. If you are looking for an internship, summer job or permanent job, do attend with plenty of copies of your resume!
Watch for flyers for Titan Gold - learn how to create resumes and post on line, session to be held on March 1st from 1:00 - 1:15pm.
Reminder to Freshman and Sophomores- you can be eligible for SSS Grant Aid for the next academic year if you earn a 2.5 gpa, receive Pell grant and have 5 contacts initiated by you with SSS staff.
