Hey everybody— I know Emilie has already sent an email about the informal
meeting at her place on Monday, but I wanted to send out another quick reminder
and some info. I’m going to bring the poster stuff (and I managed to find
black paper!) so we can decorate it. I am also going to print off a nice
picture of the logo and some other pictures (Minnie Bruce Pratt, Laura
Schwartz, etc.) that we can put up to show stuff we’re doing/stuff we’ve
done. If anyone else has pictures or any ideas of things we should put on our
board, please bring them to Emilie’s. I was also thinking of putting
together a fact sheet or two about the status of women at UWO, in the nation,
or in the world, that we could distribute when we have tables and stuff. We can
talk more about it at on Monday, but I just wanted to bring it up, so you all
could think about it. I will also have a (light) agenda, about the upcoming
semester like event planning, recruitment, advertising, and women’s
history month, but I don’t want to get into a ton of stuff, this is seems
to be more of a fun, social event. I’ve also done some updating to the
site, so check it out if you have the time, and let me know if you think of
anything we should add. Also, I am in the middle of changing my last name (Larson)
to my middle name (Shay), so for those of you who are used to calling me “Andrea
Larson,” you’ll have to make a switch. It’s not really a big
deal, but I wanted to keep you all up-to-date. It will be final by the time the
