Attendance:

Robin, a Oshkosh police officer approached us last Thursday regarding helping
to support Take Back the Night next fall. Their funding has been cut
considerably, so they're looking for more support. There is a planning meeting
for this even on March 2 at 6pm at the Christine Ann Center. If we donated
money, it would be to support a speaker on Sept. 28, 2004. They are still
looking for a speaker, so they're open to suggestions from us. However, Jess
told Robin about the Pepsi Fund, and we'd have to apply for it because it's
for campus groups. So, that's going to be looked into further.
Minnie Bruce Pratt arrangements are falling into place. Be sure to mark your
calendars!
It turns out that the shirts are going to be a bit more expensive than
planned, unless we get 24 (which seems like a lot). But, we're still planning
on moving ahead and getting more.
Emilie is working on a flyer, and it looks really good so far. Should be
excellent when it's all finished!
We fronting $160 for the Vagina Monologues for advertising. Our name didn't
get on the flyers, but it will be on the programs. There's a possibility that
we could have a table at the show, but apparently it got really crowded last
year, so we'll have to see about that. Just a reminder that the show is this
weekend at 8:30pm Feb. 26-28th in Reeve.
For those of you who are still interested, the March on Washington may be more
feasible because it would cost $125 total. This cost is a trip that would not
stay over night. If you're interested, you should contact Erika Stueber.
Crystal has decided to give up the treasurer position due to lack of time.
This position is now open, so if you're interested, don't be shy!
We're still not sure what we're going to do with the display case next month.
We have some ideas, but nothing very definite. However, it would be really
helpful if we could all look up 2 common things that have been invented by
women and bring them to the next meeting.
Speaking of which, the next meeting is Thursday, Feb. 26th at 3 pm. Hope to
see you all there!
