March for Women's Lives
Sunday, April 25th
Washington, D.C.
Hello WAC!
Last night I attended the Madison Meetup for the March for Women's Lives (www.marchforwomen.org). Meetups are open to anyone and everyone and are every 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 7pm at Ground Zero in Madison (this is far from Oshkosh, but if anyone's ever interested, contact me for more info). For more information on Meetups, check out www.marchforwomen.org/meetup.
There were about 12 of us at the Meetup, including Lauren Rauk of Planned Parenthood and Trish Welte of NARAL. Among other March topics, we also discussed travel arrangements for getting people to the March. We acknowledged that although many people want to go, few have the cash on hand to fund this opportunity. For those that are interested, but need a more feasible way to attend, check out these options:
Also, Planned Parenthood and NARAL have both extended their deadlines for bus registration!
New registration for bus travel to the March for Women's Lives is:
March 19th for Planned Parenthood (www.ppawi.org)
March 22nd for NARAL (www.naralwi.org)
Again, if you have any questions, please let me know! Even if you can't make attend, tell others about the March or pass along this information. The more people the better!
Peace,
