[WAC-list] Fwd: OSA
Folks, I am forwarding this to you because I attended the OSA /Senate debates last week, and was surprisingly impressed with the Rucks/Daus team. I realize we have already decided on this issue, as a group, and I wasn't going to say anything further, but, as your OSA representative, I feel it is my responsibility to report what I see and hear at the meetings.
As to Queer issues, which I know are of some concern, I personally spoke to each one of them, and, particularly in the case of Mr. Rucks, found nothing at all amiss. In fact, Rucks voted with us on the DOMA proposal, and he was the one, at yesterday's OSA meeting, to announce the reprehensible actions taking place in our state capitol, with regard to gay marriage rights. Again, I was impressed.
If you are unfamiliar with either team, I urge you to familiarize yourself with their platforms and, if possible, to meet them and ask your own questions
Julie Stockwell
WAC Co-director
OSA Representative.

Hi,
I'm truly sorry that I wasn't able to attend the last WAC meeting to speak on behalf of the Rucks/Daus Campaign for OSA President. Angi and I had a slight communication breakdown and your meeting slipped through the cracks even though we had intentions to meet with you.
In case any of you are still interested in hearing our ideas or checking our backgrounds I am attaching our platform.
Voting takes place March 9 and 10 (tue/wed)
Reeve Union 9 AM to 4 PM
Blackhawk 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM
Thanks,
Brian Rucks
