Brian Rucks and Angie Daus came to speak with us about their platform. Hope
all of you got out there and voted Monday and Tuesday!

Treasurer position is still open, but it appears that we have an interested
party. Yay!

Although I couldn't stay for the whole Open Mic night last night, what I saw I
thought went well. Tonight, Women's History Month is going out with a bang (no
pun intended) with Sex in the Dark sponsored by the Women's Center at 7pm.

Reminder of some upcoming events: Weekathon April 5-9, Roseanne Hoefel 5k
Run/Walk April 24, Red Cross Run/Walk May 2, and Queer Eye April 10.

Earth Week is also coming up fast: April 19-24. We are in charge of setting up
a speaker for Tuesday, the 20th, of that week. Details have been slightly
changed since our last meeting, so I'm sure we will be talking about what
exactly we're going to do, and at what time. We have some ideas as to what we
can do, but since we had some information mix-up, those ideas might not work
out. We shall see...

Ideas on What Should WAC do in the Future?
1."celebrity bartending" We would go to a bar, like Wingers, and bartend on
one of their "off" nights. This would ostensibly be in Fall.
2. Flyers posted year-round. Example: On the women's bathroom door, "UW-O
women use this bathroom daily."
3. Organizating with other social-justice groups. Having a collaborative
meeting once a month that a representative from each group could attend so
more can get accomplished without going to millions of each others' meetings.
4. Buttons from Copy This!
5. More fun events.
Any more ideas? EXCELLENT! Let us know!

Speaking of fun events, we still are planning on GOING BOWLING April 18 (it's
a Sunday). So be sure to mark your calendars! More details on time and place
to come.

Next meeting: Tomorrow! Thursday, April 1, 2004. (Happy April Fools' Day) 3pm
Reeve 207. Being the first Thursday of the month, don't forget to wear your
WAC shirts and get our name out there!
