From millerju at uwosh.edu Fri May 4 16:18:57 2007 From: millerju at uwosh.edu (Justin Miller) Date: Fri, 04 May 2007 16:18:57 -0500 Subject: [CS-CLUB] U.S. Bank C# .NET Developer - Job Opening Message-ID: Computer Science Club, My name is Justin Miller, and I am a Lecturer here on campus. I taught both Data Structures and the Assembly Language course this semester. I also work at U.S. Bank in downtime Oshkosh. If you are a graduating senior I just wanted to share with you an opportunity for a full-time position right here in Oshkosh. U.S. Bank in Oshkosh now has an opening for a full-time C# .NET Web Developer. The position involves a lot of C# and SQL coding ... including tasks of creating brand new websites and databases to replace existing out-dated MS Access databases. If you're not familiar with C# coding, it's very similar to Java. I personally didn't even have C# experience when I started this position, but it's so very similar to Java that it wasn't difficult to learn. It is a very small team (currently 3 developers), and a comfortable and flexible work environment. Most of the applications you would be writing code for would have between 20 and 400 users, with a handful of applications that actually are used by 7,000+ in multiple locations. If you're graduating and this position sounds interesting or if you know anybody that would be interested, feel free to have them email me directly (millerju at uwosh.edu), or view the job posting in the URL below. Thanks for your time. https://www2.usbank.com/jobops/JobDetail.do?reqNum=JJAN-6ZWR9U ----------------------------------------------------------- Justin C. This allocation is provided to purchase the items described in your proposal (listed below). If, after all items have been purchase, there are unspent funds, they will revert back to the Student Technology Fee account. All purchases and installation will be handled by IT staff. Note the campus is in the middle of its wireless roll out. Last year Student Technology Fee proposal funded wireless access points to cover the Nursing/Education building. We have completed the site map of the building and will begin installation this summer. Our staff have also completed a site map for Halsey, indicating a total cost of approximately $16,000 to cover the whole building. The Student Technology Fee Committee is using your proposal to provide half of that funding, which will be used to cover the south portion of Halsey. Hopefully there will be funding in the next round of proposals to cover the other half of Halsey and we'll continue building by building until the entire campus is covered. Wireless coverage in half of Halsey (the half including the CS offices) - $8,000 Thanks for your proposal. Laura J.
