THIS IS AN URGENT ACTION ALERT

CALLING ALL Oshkosh Residents:

Today, Oshkosh Mayor Frank Tower and the City Clerk confirmed that
the US Mayors Climate Protection Agreement will be on the agenda of
the next Oshkosh City Council meeting, Tuesday, Sept 11. Since it is
in the form of a resolution, as opposed to an ordinance, they can
vote on it at that meeting, immediately after citizen's are allowed
to make 5 minute comments on it. So, if you think the Mayor of
Oshkosh should sign that agreement, please act now!

The resolution should be uploaded and available on the city's website
no later than late tomorrow afternoon (Friday) - look here, first for
the "agenda cover", and then the resolution number:

* You may attend the meeting and make a 5 minute statement when that
particular agenda item comes up: 6 PM, Tuesday, Sept 11, Council
Chambers, 4th floor, Oshkosh City Hall, 215 Church Avenue, Oshkosh,
WI. It's directly adjacent to the Oshkosh Police Station, which is on
the corners of both Jackson and Algoma, and Jackson and Church. Map:
