ACUG -- ACUG members list

About ACUG
English (USA)

The Academic Computing Users Group (ACUG) is a campus-wide organization that provides advice and direction to the Information Technology (IT) Division in all areas that support the academic enterprise at UW Oshkosh (teaching, learning, and research). ACUG meets every other Thursday morning at 8:00 am in Dempsey 212 during the Fall and Spring 14-week terms.

ACUG's agendas are wide-ranging. Last year's topics considered by ACUG included a Student Email Policy, Internet 2, responsibilities of academic units and IT for support of departmental computer labs, the general access computer labs (including new and upgraded lab software), Student Technology Fee proposals, and network security. Any ACUG representative can request an agenda item.

In additiion to providing input to the IT Division, ACUG representatives share information on current technology projects and issues with their units and groups. Reports from the Chief Information Officer and Director of Academic Computing are provided prior to each ACUG meeting, and meeting minutes are distributed electronically; reports, minutes, and working documents are available on the web at

Membership in ACUG includes IT staff and representatives from each academic college and campus governance group. Membership in this ACUG list extends beyond official ACUG membership to any faculty or staff member who is interested in being informed of ACUG's agendas and minutes.
